For the first time in two years Dryden High School was able to honour its top athletes.
The Annual Awards Banquet was recently held at the Gordon Wood Auditorium.
Ethan Cook and Saige Macleod were named Athletes of the Year.
Rookie of the Year honours went to Reidar Paquette and Jordyn Robichaud.
Megan Peters was named Sportswoman of the Year, while Barett Edenburn received the Sportsman of the Year award.
Edenburn also won the Mike Smith Award.
The honour goes to the top scholar athlete from all 11 NorWOSSA schools.
Barett played 7 different sports during his 4 years at DHS, served as Student Council President, volunteered in the school and community and managed to complete a challenging academic pathway such that his average grade was always 96% or higher.
He is only the third Eagle to win it in the last 20 years.
