A major fire in downtown Kenora.
A blaze broke out just after 2:00 Tuesday morning at a business on Matheson Street South.
Inspector Jeff Duggan of the OPP says firefighters, paramedics and police all responded.
“No injuries reported at this time. The cause is still under investigation. The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office has been contacted and will likely be attending today.”
The Hungry Pug and the building beside it were destroyed.
Demolition of the building is taking place and fire crews are looking for any hot spots.
The OPP have been busy overnight investigating two other fires.
One was at a crossing guard stand on 5th Street South and a Miner and News box and the other a vehicle fire on Highway 17 east.
Inspector Duggan says at this point they don’t know if the fires are connected or not.
