‘Spotting’ deer within our NWO communities has been a daily occurence for many years now. It’s not a wow factor for the locals like it used to be.
They take up residence in our yards, travel our roads, eat our flowers and shrubery and I’m sure a few other things that you can think of. About the only thing they don’t do is pay taxes. Someone should work on that.
Many tend to complain first about their existence within town limits before seeing the positive of beautiful nature right in front of them.
To those complainers, if only for a moment, take a look at these images I captured yesterday afternoon near the Riverview Lodge in Dryden where several fawns were grazing with seemingly not a care in the world. If only we could relax and feel like them more often. If only only we could be more like deer. Maybe we should be munching daily on grass, flowers and shrubery every day? If you do decide to do that make sure it’s your own and not your neighbors. And as for not paying your taxes……you’ll have to decide that on your own – however if you don’t mind getting your water shut off and having an open-air for all to see ‘lavatory’….go for it. Just know that I won’t be gazing or grazing anywhere near you! 😉 I hope I don’t ‘spot’ you. Rest assured if I do…..I won’t be taking your picture!
Enjoy these spots……
