Another new mineral exploration company in northwestern Ontario.
Ashley Gold Corporation has purchase 48 mining claims in Kawashegamuk Township, about 40 kilometres southeast of Dryden.
Known as the Santa Maria property, the claims are located over 2,500 acres of land.
The area was considered the New Klondike in the early 1900’s, following the gold rush in the Yukon.
Ashley Gold is also searching for gold near Kirkland Lake.
