Patricia Area Community Endeavours has launched a new mentorship program for our area.
PACE is inviting small business owners and entrepreneurs to Request a Mentor or become a Mentor.
The program coordinator is reaching out to retired business owners as well as current and former loan clients to participate and is also building a pool of volunteers on its webpage.
Officials are hoping to cover the entire catchment area of Machin, Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake, Ignace, Dryden, Lac Seul First Nation, Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation and Eagle Lake First Nation.
The goal is to assist a new business owner to overcome the challenges and hurdles that they are facing in their operations.
