It’s back!
The Trout Forest Music Festival returns Friday in Ear Falls with three days of entertainment, great food, jam sessions, creative arts booth and plenty of other hands-on activities.
The excitement actually begins today (Thursday) with an audience re-engagement project with an impromptu concert featuring Al Simmons starting at noon.
Executive Director Richard Robinson says, “It’s our 25th Festival. We’ve been in operation for 27 years. Of course the last two years we haven’t been able to put one on so we’re excited, we’re going to have a good crowd and the weather is going to be great.”
Robinson notes, “We have three stages. We have a Family Stage, Frank’s Tavern Stage and the Waterfront Stage. They are only about 200 feet apart so you can rotate stages and see the performers that they want to see at that time.”
One of the highlights this year is Dryden’s Rick Smith is going to be performing.
He performed at the very first festival and has been invited back.
Smith has been part of the local music scene for decades performing in various groups and writing his own material.
