Quite a few things have changed since August 25th, 1987.
Among them….my hairline, my waistline and the technology I use at work!
I started working on-air at CKDR 35 years ago today. 35 years.
When I started at CKDR in the Fall of ’87 I thought maybe a year or two would be it and I’d be off to bigger and better things. However I decided a long time ago that there is no better than right here in Sunset Country! I love the area and the people that make Sunset Country home like I do. Community. Working together to improve lives and promote the wonderful area where we live, work and play. So with that in mind this day is really about celebrating not just me but you as well. We have done so many wonderful things together and I don’t think it’s over yet.
Thank you for letting me be in your ear, in your vehicle, on your computer, on your mobile device, at your work place, in your home and in your shower for 35 years. I promise that my eyes have been closed every time that I’m in your shower. All those times that you’ve dropped the soap….never saw a thing. Haaaaa! You’re welcome.
I love what I do. I’m doing what I love. I hope you are as well. It makes life so much more enjoyable!
