Provincial Police are reminding motorists that it is still a requirement to renew your licence plates.
On March 13, licence plate renewal fees and licence plate sticker requirements were eliminated for passenger vehicles, light-duty trucks, motorcycles and mopeds.
However, OPP stress plate renewal is still mandatory.
Not doing so comes with a fine of $110.
Renewing your plates is free of charge and can be done online at Licence renewal page
You will need the following:
-Licence plate number
-Vehicle permit number
-Insurance company name and policy number
-Odometer reading
-To pay any defaulted fines, tolls or fees
