The COVID test positivity rate continues to drop.
The Northwestern Health Unit latest update shows the rate at 11.1%.
That’s down from 17.5% in the last report and 20.1% two weeks ago.
Officials are reporting a slight increase in high risk cases with 61.
That’s compared to 47 last week.
Local health officials note the numbers are lower than the ‘real’ number due to the fact many people are not eligible for PCR testing and instead test positive on Rapid Antigen tests at home and are not counted in the total.
There is only one institutional outbreak at a hospital.
