A tough opening home weekend for the Kenora Under 18 Thistles Hockey team.
Following a 1-1 start to the season, the Thistles dropped a pair of games in Kenora on the weekend.
They fell to the Southwest Cougars 6-0 and 3-1.
Local players were held off the score sheet.
The Thistles look to rebound Wednesday when they travel to Winnipeg to take on the Bruins.
