One of the people to resign from the board of directors of Hockey Canada Tuesday is from northwestern Ontario.
Kenora’s Barry Reynard is a long-time member of the board of directors.
In a statement, officials with Hockey Canada say they recognize the need for new leadership and perspectives.
The resignations follow stories that emerged that Hockey Canada has used one of its funds to settle a sexual assault case against several members of the junior hockey team in 2018.
