Members of the Dryden Full Gospel Church will be knocking on your door on Saturday in support of an important cause.
Volunteers are conducting a food drive and will be going door-to-door collecting donations for the Food Bank.
Brian Callewaert is the Youth, Children and Outreach Pastor at the Church and says they usually hold an in-house food drive during this time of year.
Callewaert stresses this is a busy time of year for the Food Bank as the number of clients continues to climb.
He says they will be collecting basically any item but canned and dry goods are preferred.
Callewaert adds helping others is something that is close to the heart of all church members.
“We really do feel that it’s important to be a part of providing hope to our community because that is something that’s really big and we’re seeing more and more social issues within the community and this is just a small way that we can try and be involved in that .”
