Big First Period Results In Win For Red Lake Miners

An early four goal outburst propelled the Red Lake Miners to a 6-3 win over the Bombers in Sioux Lookout Wednesday night.

Jacob Lamoureux led the attack with three goals, with Colton Crysler also finding the back of the net.

Crysler would score again in the second period, while Aiden Corbett lit the lamp late in the third.

Scoring for Sioux Lookout; Alex Lucas, Blake Burke and Lucas Trimarchi.

Red Lake outshot Sioux Lookout 54-38.

The Miners are back on the ice tonight (Thursday) at home against Kam River.

The Bombers host the Fighting Walleye Friday.
