OPP Officer In Kenora Charged

A Provincial Police officer in Kenora has been charged following a criminal investigation.

The probe started last November after allegations were made in October 2021 regarding inappropriate behaviour by an off-duty officer in relation to an adult person.

OPP say Constable James Clark, a 20 year veteran of the force, has been charged with Obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration and Breach of Trust.

Clark had been assigned to court services-related duties from the Kenora Detachment since 2015 and is currently on leave.

He will appear in court at a later date.
