Ice Dogs Score Late To Earn Win In Thunder Bay

It was a back-and-forth thriller between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Thunder Bay North Stars Thursday night that featured a total of 102 shots.

In the end the Ice Dogs prevailed with a 5-3 win.

Max Roby scored the winner with only 4:03 to play in regulation time.

Landen Stromme secured the victory with a late empty netter, his second goal of the game.

Ben Hackl also found the back of the net as did Kaden Bandura, his first SIJHL goal.

Eric Clark relieved Zac MacDonald in goal and stopped all 31 shots he faced to earn the win.

The game featured only 5 minor penalties.

The rematch is tonight (Wednesday) in Thunder Bay.
