Trafficking Charges Laid In Dryden Drug Bust

Four people have been arrested in Dryden following a drug bust.

Provincial Police with assistance from Nishnawbe-Aski Police searched a Duke Street home on December 14.

Officers seized hydromorphone, oxycodone, cocaine, cash and items associated with drug trafficking.

OPP say 62-year-old Kathleen Tait, 47-year-old Adrian Biczok, 28-year-old Jennifer King and 25-year-old Jonathan King all face a total of 5 charges.

. Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to Section 5 (2) of the CDSA

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking – Opioid contrary to Section 5 (2) of the CDSA – two counts

· Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada contrary to Section 354 (1) (a) of the Criminal Code (CC)

· Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon contrary to Section 91 (2) of the CC
