Armit commits to play in NCAA Division 3

A former member of the U18 AAA Thistles, the Dryden Paper Kings, and the Dryden Eagles, has agreed to play next season with NCAA Division 3 Worcester State University Lancers.

Dryden’s Evan Armit led the Thistles in points during the 2019-2020 season with 20 goals and 11 assists for a total of 31 points in 46 games.

He spent his first two years of Junior Hockey with the Winnipeg Freeze of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, earning the team’s Most Improved Player Award in 2022.

In his final year of Junior Hockey, he joined the Islanders Hockey Club of the USPHL located in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts.

During the 2022-23 season he played in a total of 44 games, putting up 22 goals and 21 assists for a total of 43 points.

Armit will also be pursing a degree in Business.
