‘There’s nothing to do in Eagle River……’

Eagle River resident and community volunteer Connie Calvert puts that notion to rest with the following words and pictures….
“City friends just can’t wrap their heads around living where there are no fast food places, no restaurants, no grocery stores, no concerts, no rush hour traffic and no hustle and bustle.
Eagle River offers peace, tranquility,, nature and outdoor walks, sliding trails, an outdoor rink, pickleball, fishing, swimming, blueberry picking, decorate a tree, community spirit, friendly smiles, great people, camaraderie and beautiful sunsets.
My response…don’t knock small town living until you live it. There will come a time in your cycle of life.”
