$3.1-Million Set Aside For Small Businesses

Small to medium sized businesses now have new funds available to hire interns.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford has announced $3.1-million from FedNor is now going to the Private Sector Internship initiative.
Rickford says the funds are available through local community futures development corporations.
The initiative is specific to interns who have completed post graduate studies.
Businesses can access over $31,000 for an full time internship over a 12 month period.
