3 Dead in Fort Hope House Fire

Tragedy has struck the Northern First Nation community of Fort Hope,
northeast of Armstrong
A mother and her 2-daughter’s perished in a house fire on the remote
community Friday.
According to the Band website, 21-year-old Barbara Baxter, 4-year-old
Danielle Baxter and 18-month old Trista Baxter failed to escape the home in
time.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
