3 Girls Safe After Running Out of Gas

OPP are asking area motorists to take extra precautions when traveling
the next couple of weeks.
The warning comes after 3-Kenora area girls ran out of gas when
traveling on an ice road near Matheson Bay.
OPP were out on routine patrol when they spotted the girls stranded on the road.
No one was injured despite the minus 40 temperatures.
Police say motorists should pack blankets, extra clothing, food and a
candle and matches when traveling this winter.
