Two people have now died as a result of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 17 east of Upsala.
It happened just before 2:30 p.m. Friday.
OPP says two vehicles were involved.
One person died at the scene.
Another was taken to hospital in Thunder Bay but has since succumbed to their injuries.
No names have been immediately released.
The highway was closed for several hours.
It has since reopened.
