The ‘Can’t Forget’ World Events

I will never forget this past weekend seeing the first indication on social media that former President Donald Trump had been shot.

I will never forget a major news event that happened in 1986 – the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion. I was in my college tv studio watching in disbelief. The world stopped for me when that happened.

On a brighter note, I will never forget the day that a world record was set by Canadian runner Donovan Bailey in 1996 while I attended a wedding reception (it might have been mine – I forget!). Many of us snuck into another room during the reception to watch it happen live on tv!!

Those are some of the events I will never forget!
