Casino to reopen following cyberattack

Gateway Casinos in Thunder Bay and Sudbury will reopen today at 6:00 p.m. following a shutdown last month due to a computer issue.

The casino along with others under the Gateway brand were shuttered on April 16th, for what was first described as a malfunction and later determined to be the result of a cyberattack.

In a release issued the day after the issue was identified the company stated there was no indication of compromised data.
