Avalon doing more work at Separation Rapids

Avalon Advanced Materials has released it’s work plan for 2023 for Separation Rapids north of Kenora.

That includes a deep drilling project for the Separation site and discussions with various engineering firms to prepare a feasibility study for a lithium mine.

Avalon says it will also do some drilling work on the Snowbank site, which is located about six kilometers north of the Separation Rapids location.

In addition, the mining company says it wants to finalize the purchase of some industrial property in Thunder Bay for a lithium conversion facility.

Avalon says it’s also in the early stages of a draft study to bring a powerline to the Separation property.
