An Alberta MP wants to see Taylor Swift include Canadian stops on her Eras tour.
Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux is filing what he calls an official grievance with Parliament.
On his Instagram page, he says Swift’s tour doesn’t include any Canadian dates at this point. He’s hoping his push will help encourage her team to reconsider.
Jeneroux says this leaves Canada out of the economic opportunities Swift’s shows generate which could amount to around $4.6 billion for local economies.
In his letter, he concludes by saying, “This motion is non-partisan in nature and requires swift action to address what I can only assume is a serious oversight.
