4 Area Residents Qualify for Contest

3 singers from Red Lake and 1 from Sioux Lookout will converge on the
Kenora Harbourfront August 5th to compete for $1,000.
Shy-Anne Hovorka, Ken Furman, Terry Thomas and Barry McLoughlin have
been selected as finalists for the 807-Back Beat “Take the Stage”
singer-songwriter contest.
3-others from Winnipeg, Sioux Narrows and Kenora are also taking part
in the event.
On top of the $1,000 grand prize, 500-bucks will be handed
out for best original song.
