It was quite the experience for some of the members of the Dryden Eagles at the Prospects Girls Hockey Tournament in Toronto.
Carly Brown, Brittany Bembeneck, Joanna Lappage and Tiffany Thompson recently tested their skills against the top talents across Ontario, Manitoba and the Northern United States.
Thompson says it was real eye-opener with a number of scouts on hand to witness their play.
She adds it speaks volumes on how far the Girls Hockey program has come.
The Northwestern Ontario squad finished the Tournament with 2 ties and 6 losses.
