40% Tax Relief for 4 Groups

An early Christmas present for a group of non-profit organizations.
Dryden Council has agreed to grant property tax relief for the Royal
Canadian Legion, the Moose Hall, the Masonic Hall and the Ukrainian Hall.
The 40% tax relief is effective from the 2007 taxation year up
to and including 2010 at which time a review of the policy will be
conducted.
The move is expected to save the groups more then $4,400.
