Kenora rules the podium at FFBC 2023

It was all Kenora anglers at the podium this weekend at the 2023 Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship.

Taking first place was Bryan Gustafson and Mike Luhman who reeled in a total of 61.19 lbs.

Ian Waterer and Motei Demers pretty much stayed on the tail of the champs through the tournament, finishing with just under a pound and a half less with 59.72 lbs.

Finishing out in 3rd place with a healthy 55.27 lbs was Gussy himself Jeff Gustafson and John Peterson.

They moved up from sixth on the first day and fourth the second day.

A total of 112 teams took to the lake this year.

Top prize for the tournament was $15,000, followed with $7500 for the runner up spot, and $5000 for 3rd.

Coupled with the other cash prizes which ran as far as 22nd place along with daily prizes and other more specific categories, a grand total of $69,600 was on the line.
