More fishing tournaments this weekend

It was a weekend for fishing tournaments.

In addition to the Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championships, the Bronzeback Classic and the Dingwall Wabigoon Walleye Classic took place.

Logan Zimmerman and Amanda Kezler took top honours in the Bronzeback on Lake of the Woods pulling in 35.13 pounds over the two day tournament.

Coel Forsythe and Matthew Prefontaine were in second place less than a half a pounds back at 35.04 pounds.

Once again the tournament was a sell-out with 120 boats in the field.

At the Dingwall Wabigoon Walleye Classic, Scott and Weston Dingwall placed first on the competitive side by Rene Boileau and Brandon Kamm.

On the family side of the tournament Scott Lobreau, Heather Lobreau and Parker Lee had the biggest weight.

Overall $2,500 was raised for the Dryden Food Bank in the charity tournament.
