The Dryden Trillium Lions Club and the Dryden Lions Club are giving back to the community.
Wendy Wiedenhoeft is with the Trillium Lions and says each year they host a truck and boat draw as a part of a fundraising endeavor.
Tickets from this year’s event were completely sold out, and Wiedenhoeft says as a result, they are able to spread out $46,000 to local charities and ones across the province.
Both the Trillium Lions and the Lions Club received half, which is $23,000, to present to charities and organizations that they believe are in need of the money.
