Northwest Employment Works welcomes newcomers

Northwest Employment Works is welcoming both new and old Dryden residents to an informational Hello Neighbour event on September 14th

Carol Diehl an employment advisor with N.E.W says they noticed there was a need for this sort of service.

“We just noticed there were a lot of of newcomers to the community, and that being either new to the country, or new to the area from other towns, even like from Kenora or up north in one of the First Nation communities,” explains Diehl.

“We just wanted to welcome them to town and let them know about some of the services available to them.”

Diehl says anyone interested is welcome to come down their Northwest Employment Works office, to gain some insight on the area.
