Dryden Hospital receives funding from the province

The Dryden Regional Health Center is getting $834,000 in funding from the provincial government.

The hospital is purchasing two pieces of equipment with the funding.

One is for the final stage of the medical vacuum replacement and the other is for a new chiller unit.

The money is part of the Health Infrastructure Renewal fund and the Community Infrastructure Renewal Fund

A total of $208 million is being provided to 131 hospitals and 58 community health agencies in the province.
