5 Canadians killed in Israel-Hamas war, 3 missing

There are now five Canadians dead as a result of the Hamas-Israel war.
The new figures come as the federal government is still working to figure out the status of three other Canadians – considered missing.

It’s still not clear if anyone from our country is among the hundreds being held hostage since the conflict began.

Hamas attacked Israel last weekend and since then thousands of people have been killed in the conflict.

It’s believed about 1,000 Canadians and their families have been flown out of Israel to Athens by military planes.

There are currently more than 6,800 people from our country registered with Global Affairs in Israel.
