Just in time for the start of camping season, the City of Dryden has approved another 5-year agreement with Ontario Parks to operate Aaron Park.
The City has controlled the popular Summer destination since 1997.
Director of Community Services Bill Latham says the Park has seen substantial growth over the past 4-years but notes last year was a wash due to poor weather.
The Park was down 1,000 camper nights compared to 2008 but saw a very small increase in day visits.
Officials say this year looks promising as it’s been a hot start to the season.
