$5,000 For The Dryden Fire Service

The Dryden Fire Service is receiving some funding from Union Gas.
Union Spokesperson Andrea Stass says they teamed up with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council to offer a total of $35,000 to seven fire departments.
The Dryden Fire Service will receive $5,000 to purchase training equipment.
The other volunteer departments that were chosen are Kapuskasing, the Township of Wellington North, Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, Thames Centre, Zorra and Tillsonburg.
The communities were chosen through a random draw of interested fire departments.
Stass says one of their core values is safety, and this funding announcement aligns with that.
