Canadian PM says hospital bombing in Gaza unacceptable

Hundreds of Palestinians are dead after the bombing of a hospital in Gaza.

This is where many had sought shelter since the conflict began on October 7th.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau commented in Ottawa, “News coming out of Gaza is horrific and absolutely unacceptable. International humanitarian and international law needs to be respected in this and in all cases. There are rules around wars and it is not acceptable.”

Thousands have died in the fighting between Israel and Hamas, including six Canadians.

Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly says 1300 people have been evacuated. She pleaded with those still in the area to get out while they can.
