Economy, healthcare top focus for Canadians

What are the top issues Canadians would look at if an election were held today?

A new poll from Narrative Research says 91 percent of Canadians feel our economy is the top issue.

That’s closely followed by healthcare at 90 percent, then housing at 84 and poverty at 78.

If Canadians had to pick one single issue for government to focus on, 34 percent would choose the economy.

It also varies by region, with Atlantic Canada saying they’d focus more on housing, and those in Quebec are looking at education.
