Red Lake and St. Thomas Aquinas won two gold medals each at the NorWOSSA “A” championships.
The Rams senior boys volleyball teams took down the Northern Lakes Lightning from Atikokan three sets to one.
They now head to Marathon for the NWOSSA championships.
In junior girls basketball action, the Red Lake squad downed St. Thomas Aquinas 38-30.
In the senior girls basketball final, the Saints trounced the Rainy River Owls 53-8.
Delaney Turner and Sophie Muise both had 14 points to lead the offense to victory.
TA will host the Manitouadge Wolverines next Thursday and Friday in the NWOSSA final.
The other gold medal went to St. Thomas Aquinas as they blanked Northern Lakes three sets to none.
