City council in Dryden is being advised by staff to support an application for connecting link funding.
Public Works Manager Blake Poole explains the scope of the project.
“From Gordon Road for 1500 metres easterly, and that would be like to close to where the tug boat is across from the mill.”
Eligible funding for the project is a little over $1.3 million and would be included as part of the 2024 capital budget.
Poole notes the city has been fairly successful in Connecting link funding from the province in the past, with seven projects receiving funding since 2016.
