The Dryden Rotary Club has handed out over $34,000 to local charities.
They money was raised through their radio bingo on CKDR.
Grants were presented to:
Red Lake Chunkuni Christmas Cheer Board – $3,500
Community Support Cent(Christmas Cheer) – $5,000
Mary Berglund Community Health Center (Christmas Cheer/Food Bank) – $6,000
The Dryden Food Bank – $15,000
The Warm Winter Wear Project – $450
Migisi Sahgaigan for it’s indoor tower gardens – $4,500
The Dryden Rotary Charity Foundation is also assisted by the Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout.
The applications were approved under the youth, poverty, health and community mandates.
