December a lot warmer and drier than usual

Last month was much, much warmer than usual and a lot drier.

The daily mean temperature in in Dryden in December was -4.6 Celsius.

That’s almost 10 degrees above our average of -14.5 degrees.

In terms of precipitation, we got almost a half of what we usually with 14.2 millimeters falling in the form of rain and snow.

The average is 26.2 millimeters.

Normally Dryden gets no rain at all in December.
