6-Year-Old Dies in Attawapiskat

A 6-year-old boy is dead following an incident in the remote community of Attawapiskat First Nation Tuesday morning.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police Sergeant Jackie George says the boy succumbed to injuries he sustained while attempting to latch onto a moving vehicle.
The OPP, Forensic Identification Services Unit and the Highway Safety Division are assisting in the investigation.
A post-mortem is scheduled for Friday in Toronto.
