OPP are combing an area, just west of Marathon, in the search for a missing 61-year-old Orillia woman.
Nancy Stafford went missing around May 16th near Marathon and her vehicle was located on Highway 17 near Angler Creek.
Stafford is 5 foot 6, medium build with green eyes and shoulder-length grey hair.
She also wears glasses for driving.
18-members of the OPP Northwest Region Emergency Response Team, the K9 Unit and Helicopter are involved in the search.
OPP say the terrain in the area is dense, swampy and rugged.
Police say the woman may be suffering from a mental health ailment and they don’t know why she was travelling through Northwestern Ontario.
Anyone with information on Nancy Stafford’s whereabouts is asked to contact OPP.
