Manitoba premier most popular in new poll

The latest Angus Reid premier approval rating poll is out.

New Brunswick’s premier is the least popular leader in the country, with just 31 per cent approval. This is as New Brunswickers prepare for a provincial election that is currently set for October.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford sits third from the bottom and has seen no movement in the 34 per cent approval rating since the last poll in December.

Nova Scotia’s premier ranks just above Ford on the latest list. Tim Houston saw a four-point drop in approval.

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew’s approval rating continues to climb. He is in the top spot on the list in the country, up seven percentage points in the quarterly poll.

The Angus Reid Institute conducted an online survey from February 28 to March 6, with a sample of 4,550 Canadian adults.
