7 People Impacted By Fire on Whitedog Reserve

7-residents of Whitedog First Nation, near Kenora, are without a home
and all their belongings after 2-houses burned to the ground Friday evening.
The fire also damaged one of 2 school buses, but fortunately no one
was injured.
Band council and staff are organizing relief efforts.
The cause is under investigation and like many First Nations, the
community doesn’t have a fire truck to deal with emergency’s.
