A new study “ranks the best and the worst” of 25 airports in Canada.
Data was based on six factors – direct flight destinations, lounges, dining facilities, nearby hotels, on-site car rentals, and operating airlines.
The Saint John Airport in New Brunswick scored as the worst, with no lounge and only one dining facility.
Thunder Bay International Airport placed fifth on the list with 20 destinations, 16 airlines, Wi-Fi and four dining facilities, but no lounges.
Rounding out the ten best are Toronto Pearson, Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau and Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson international airports.
The Greater Moncton and Halifax Stanfield international airports are 10th and 13th respectively.
At number one – Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport is officially the best according to the study, with 24 flight destinations and 15 hotels within a two-mile radius.
