The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will have quite a few holes to fill in the next school year.
The public school board has approved 27 retirements so far this year.
That includes four teachers at Beaver Brae and Dryden High School, three at Red Lake High School and 2 at Sioux North.
Lisa Achilles-Belanger, the principal at Valleyview School in Kenora, is also retiring at the end of this school year.
The retirements also include a number of education assistants and custodians.
