2 construction projects expected to cause delays

A couple construction projects could cause delays for motorists in the City of Dryden.

Starting tomorrow (July 4th), repaving work will start on a section of Highway 17.

The area affected will between Anton Road to Cecil Avenue.

Work will be done at night, from 6:30 pm until 7 am daily from July 4th until the 13th.

Also, sidewalk and curb replacement is taking place on Mary Avenue from Second Street to Wice Road.

Asphalt replacement is being done as well.

Construction work will be taking place from today (July 3rd) until July 31st.

During this time, residents may experience abnormal amounts noise and other inconveniences in both locations.

The city says it will make efforts to reduce the impact of these temporary inconveniences.

Also, to ensure the construction zone remains safe, please anticipate temporary delays, closures, and construction workers.
